Pireka. Cleaning and hygiene goods

UAB “Pireka” started its activity in 1995. At the moment the company specializes in the four following areas:
• General construction work and service,
• Water improvement filters,
• Waste water treatment plants,
• Cleaning and hygiene products for companies. 

UAB “Pireka” is staffed with more than 120 persons. They are excellent, highly experienced and qualified specialists.The employees regularly attend seminars, trainings of manufacturers, professional development courses. 

The main office of UAB “Pireka” is established in 4 Islandijos street, Vilnius, branches are located in Kaunas and Klaipėda. In 2001 a branch in Latvia – SIA „Pireka“ was opened, after one year a branch in Estonia – OÜ „Pireka Eesti“ – started its activity. 

Since the beginning of 2008 the company has been using certified Quality management system ISO 9001:2008, Environmental management system ISO 14001:2004, and Occupational health and safety management system OHSAS 18001:2007. Meeting the requirements of these management systems will certainly ensure the quality of services and products supplied by UAB “Pireka”. Since 2009 the company has been using Social accountability management system SA 8000:2008 ensuring fulfillment of social accountability principles within the company as well as their spread among subcontractors.

Water improvement filters
This is the first area of activity of UAB “Pireka”. Since the establishment until 1999 the company had been selling production of foreign manufacturers, and in 1999 it opened its own production line of water treatment equipment.
Today UAB ‚Pireka” is certainly the strongest company of water improvement filter market in the Baltic states, capable of implementing projects of any size and complexity in industrial and municipal objects. Design and improvement of new water treatment technologies is also an important and promising area of “Pireka” activity.
Filters of UAB “Pireka” are marked with the trademark “Prior” associated with quality and reliability by our clients. We offer primary treatment filters; water softening systems; iron and manganese removal filters; activated carbon filters; reverse osmosis systems; deionization and decarbonization equipment; water disinfection equipment; operating materials of water treatment equipment; solutions and equipment of specific water problems. 

Cleaning and hygiene products for companies.
Since 2001 UAB “Pireka” has expanded its activity and began to sell cleaning and hygiene products. We became the official distributors of the world‘s famous company “Kimberly-Clark“ for all three Baltic States. We offer bathroom systems (dispensers and fitting paper hand towels, toilet paper, automatic air fresheners, liquid soap and other personal hygiene products) designed for offices, public premises, hotels, restaurants, industrial and manufacturing companies and other organizations; protective coveralls, gloves and respirators “Kleenguard“ designed for workshops, industrial and manufacture companies; and single-use and reusable wipers “Wypall L“, “Wypall X“ and “Kimtech“ designed for industrial, manufacturing and cleaning companies.
Each year UAB “Pireka“ has been expanding the range of cleaning and hygiene products. We provided the Lithuanian market with German company’s “Vileda Professional“ professional cleaning products for windows, floors and other surfaces and various sponges and wipers, and “Ready System“ cleaning trolleys. Later we expanded our range with “Vermop“ cleaning products and “Vectair Systems“ products designed for maintaining hygiene and cleanness in sanitary premises.
The range of chemical cleaning agents covers high quality chemical cleaning and washing products for Horeca sector supplied by the world‘s famous company “Ecolab“, floor treatment and bathroom washing products of the English company “Evans“.
Since 2007 we have started selling scrubber-dryers, sweepers, burnishers and multipurpose vacuums of the world‘s famous company “Tennant“, and in 2009 we became representatives of “Green machine”. These are compact street maintenance machines.

General construction work and services. 
The company has begun to implement construction work since 2005. Construction work department has expanded each year and at the moment it is staffed with more than a half of company‘s employees. They are mostly experienced and qualified construction project managers, engineers, constructors, quantity surveyors and other specialists ensuring professionalism and quality of construction work. UAB "Pireka" designs and constructs public and industrial structures, residential and non-residential buildings. We also design and construct services, communications. Waste water treatment plants.
An important step in 2007 was the introduction and development of a new activity – waste water treatment plants. UAB “Pireka” constructs and reconstructs treatment plants of cities and towns. We design and introduce up-to-date solutions for waste water treatment meeting all European Union environmental requirements. Construction of treatment plants is a complex activity, implemented equipping all treatment links and an entire infrastructure (building construction, communication construction, maintenance).
